Alexandria Newton
The Newton Legacy was founded by Alexandria Newton.
Alexandria is a native of Estill, SC.
She is 50% mother, 50% teacher, and 25% bad at math!
Her passion for teaching and family drove her to create Newton Lab Life, which provides others with opportunities and educational experiences, while fostering her love for creating lifelong learners-- leaving behind an everlasting family legacy.
Educational Background
Ms. Alexandria Newton possesses numerous degrees that intertwine with her experience and passion with education and STEAM.

She obtained her Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from University of South Carolina Beaufort in Beaufort, SC in December 2010.
​
Her first graduate degree is a Master's in Educational Assessment and Evaluation from American Intercontinental University Online in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in June of 2012.
Her second graduate degree is a Master's in Adult Education with a minor in Human Resources from Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA in 2014.
Experience
Ms. Alexandria has a vast mixture of educational experience. She has worked in childcare facilities for a total of six years with students ranging from the ages of six weeks to twelve years old. She has a combined total of eight years as a teacher in charter, private, and public schools. Although her expertise lies primariy in elementary and intermediate aged school aged children, she also has extensive experience in educating adults.

Ms. Newton has not only served as the Technology and Environmental Liasion at her current and previous schools, she has also been responsible for developing, conducting, and launching countless Professional Development sessions. Some of her most recent Adult Education experience has been presenting at several notable conferences in various states!
Ms. Newton has presented several sessions at the SCAEYC ( South Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children) in Columbia, SC within the past two years. She has also presented at the FETC (Future of Education Technology Conference) in Orlando, FL and the Interdisciplinary STEM Teaching and Learning Conference in Savannah, GA.
